Bullet MORE INFO

THE FUTURE IS HERE, and the Hi-Desert Cultural Center is lighting the way. This past year, President Jarrod Radnich and Vice President Craig Knudsen had the honor of being requested by Disney to create two new shows for their $15 million renovation of Tomorrowland at Disneyland. The technology on display there is now a reality. The Hi-Desert Cultural Center partnered with the new $31 million Lincoln Park Performing Arts Center in Pennsylvania and the YAMAHA Music and Wellness Institute and made history.

Both theatres, on opposite sides of the United States, were interactively connected to each other via the Internet complete with audio and multi camera video streaming. Two YAMAHA Disklavier state-of-the-art player grand pianos in both locations were also connected to each other via the Internet. When the piano was played live in one location, the piano keys in the other location would move up and down and recreate every nuance of the performance in real time. For the first time in history, the Center had two theatres on different sides of the planet, with two different audiences, and musicians on both sides playing music and interacting together in real time in a joint masterclass. . . this is the future, and the Hi-Desert Cultural Center is one of three centers being established for remote learning and concert performances in the United States.
